One way that couples can be creative in their wedding ceremony is around the Unity Candle ritual.

Normally an individual candle is lit by the bride and groom at the start of the ceremony. Then when they have become husband and wife, they return to the altar to light the centre candle. At this point couples can decide to keep all three candles lighting or blow out the individual candles.

Annuity: This is the most popular choice of mortgage. Each repayment covers the interst owed plus the capital borrowed. The amount goes down each year. It is a slow process as the Interest owed is based on the capital borrowed. It could take ¾ of the mortgage term to pay ½ of it off.

Endowment: Not a popular option anymore but they still exist. The mortgage is not repaid until the end of the term. The mortgagor does make Interest only payments and also makes a payment into an investment fund that should, upon  the end of the mortgage term, mature, hopefully to the extent that will allow the mortgage capital to be repaid.

Church Regulations

Church RegulationsEvery couple marrying in the Catholic Church are required to give a minimum of three months notice to their priest and complete a Pre Nuptial Enquiry Form. The form is completed a meeting with local priest of each party.

There are at least three forms that you need to get before going to meet your priest.
1. A recently issued copy of your Baptismal Certificate
2. A recently issued copy of your Confirmation Certificate
3. A Letter of Freedom from each parish you have lived in since you were 18.
