Saturday courses start at 11 am sharp. Please do not arrive late as you will have missed the fun bit!

Sunday courses start at 12pm. Don’t arrive too early or you will be bored waiting around!

Couples who arrive without having paid will not usually be accommodated.

We do not accept payment on the day of the course as spaces are strictly limited.

‘Change of Date’ requests can’t be guaranteed where spaces are limited on the course you wish to move to. There is a 20 euro fee for changing your date. This will be payable on the day of the course that you move to.

Please note: You may only request one date change and should you fail to show up for your course then this is at your own expense.

Parking is free at most of our venues where it is available.

In order to receive a certificate couples must have a valid email confirmation with them at the course. If you do not have an email there will be a fee of 20 euro payable by cheque or cash the following week in order to process your request. This late fee must be received before we can send you a certificate. 

It is the responsibility of each couple to make sure that they have received this email especially in the case of CHANGE OF DATE requests or payments made by cash or postal order or cheque. If you pay using these methods you will still receive an email which you must bring with you to the course.

Both parties must attend all sections of the Avalon course. Couples are not allowed to leave early except for emergencies. 

Presenters will always be respectful of the opinions of others and all we ask is that you do the same. If participants are abusive or disrespectful they may be asked to leave. Refunds and certificates will not be presented at that point. 

Avalon will provide tea/coffee and light refreshments in the morning. 

Lunch lasts one hour. No we can’t finish early for the match lol. 

Participation is encouraged during the course but not required. If you don’t feel like talking, you don’t have to! We want you to relax and enjoy yourselves.

Refunds are not usually given as Avalon has to bear the cost of venue and staff except where a couple feel that they have not learned anything new from the course or are dissatisfied with the quality of the service we provide. We must receive your complaint in writing within one week after the course to facilitate this request and also the presenter must be informed of your dissatisfaction on the day you complete the course.

Some dioceses are refusing to accept certificates from other premarriage courses. Please check with your priest before booking our course as refunds are not given after a booking has been accepted by Avalon RC Ltd.
